“Live life with no excuses, travel with no regret” – Oscar Wilde

Hello, I grew up in the Cherokee Nation. It’s a sovereign nation within the state of Oklahoma in the United States. I have traveled the US my whole life, and this country is like my back yard. I now travel the rest of the world. I love art, history, architecture, archeology, nature, food, museums, botanical gardens, and cultural sites and activities the most. I’m usually up for anything to be honest.

I am an ambulatory wheelchair user, having graduated from crutches several years ago. As a woman who travels solo, my love of traveling and adventure has not been hampered by this in the least. I’ve figured it out, and I’m still figuring it out as you will see in my blog. I will share from a perspective of someone with an eye out for people with disabilities and mobility issues, as it’s always on my mind. Hopefully following my blog will help you plan a trip for everyone of all abilities in your group.

Having grown up in Cherokee Nation, and having close family and friends who are Cherokee, I will have a particular emphasis on this beautiful land. Coming to Cherokee Nation Reservation and learning the history of its people, as well as seeing the present living culture being preserved for the future is a beautiful experience.

I hope you will enjoy following as much as I enjoy writing!
